Water Safety
We encourage everyone to enjoy outdoor activities responsibly and remind all visitors of essential water safety rules. The average depth of the main reservoir in Przylasek Rusiecki is 5 meters, with a maximum depth of 10 meters.
✅ Swim only in designated areas supervised by lifeguards. Follow the bathing area’s rules and lifeguard instructions.
Swimming Area Signs:
🏳️ White flag – swimming allowed.
🚩 Red flag – swimming prohibited.
❌ No flag – no lifeguard on duty.
Additional safety tips:
✅ Always supervise children — even if they can swim.
✅ Never swim in areas where bathing is forbidden.
✅ Avoid jumping into unknown waters.
✅ Do not enter the water under the influence of alcohol.
✅ Avoid swimming after eating or sunbathing.
✅ In an emergency, signal for help by raising both arms and crossing them above your head.
✅ Avoid swimming far from shore or alone — having a companion nearby is best.
✅ Do not enter the water after dark — low visibility hampers safety and rescue operations.
✅ Save the water emergency number to your phone: 601 100 100. In an emergency, call and clearly report the location, nature of the incident, the number and condition of those involved, and your name. Do not hang up first. You can also dial 112 for emergency services.
✅ Adults and children alike should review basic first aid procedures. Prompt action can save lives — especially near the water.
