On 27-28 November 2018 representatives of Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A. participated in MIPIM Asia Property Leaders’ Summit in Hong Kong.

MIPIM Asia Property Leaders’ Summit is an event prepared by Reed MIDEM, organiser of one of the most important property fair in Europe – MIPIM, held in Cannes for 30 years. The history of MIPIM Asia comes back to 2006 and from that moment it is held regularly,  every year in the biggest cities of Asia Pacific region. This event meets the most influential players from the international real estate industry, entrepreneurs, investors, architects, developers and representatives of authorities. Hundreds of entrepreneurs take part in MIPIM Asia every year, mainly from Asia, but there are also participants from other parts of the world. Participation gives them an excellent opportunity to make international relations, create network of contacts, promote projects and to know dynamic and rich in resources Asian market. MIPIM Asia includes several conferences, discussions, presentations and networking events. For the first time, during this edition of MIPIM Asia, a new meeting – focused on modern technologies and their usage in real estate sector was held – MIPIM Proptech Asia.

This year MIPIM Asia gathers representatives of real estate and proptech market from 42 countries. The event attracted 975 participants, representing 610 entrepreneurships. The largest group were from  participants from China, Hong Kong, USA, France, Great Britain and Singapore. Topics of lectures and debates mentioned during MIPIM Asia were related to economic conflict between USA and China, key investment trends in Asia, development of smart cities, Chinese investments, further development of New Silk Route. The meeting mentioned also Brexit and its impact on investment climate in Europe.

During numerous meetings representatives of Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A. presented economic offer of Małopolska region, promoting investment areas in region, including these ones within “Kraków – Nowa Huta of the Future” project and were answering questions concerning investment climate in Poland, support for investors, perspective of real estate market development, potential profits from investments. The range of topics was very extensive, which shows huge interest (in perspective approach) in our country from investors.

Possibility of direct meetings and conversations, exchange of knowledge and experiences, creating B2B relations play the key role in events such as MIPIM Asia. Meetings provide access to knowledge about business culture in Asia, about investors and trends on international real estate markets and at the same time they allow to achieve important objective – promotion of Poland and our region on the international arena.

Participation of representatives of Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A. in MIPIM Asia Property Leaders in Hong Kong and related promotional activities are co-financed by European Union from European Regional Development Fund in the framework of “Power up your Business in Małopolska” project (Regional Operational Programme of Małopolska Voivodeship 2014-2020), which is being implemented by Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A. in partnership with Małopolska Regional Development Agency S.A. (MARR) and Krakow Technology Park Sp. z o.o.
