Works initiated by Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A. and aimed at road investments in the strategic project “Kraków – Nowa Huta of the Future” area were finished. It will result in submitting by the Municipal Infrastructure and Transportation Board in Krakow appropriate motions to include these particular tasks in the budget of Municipality of Krakow for 2019 as well as in the Multiannual Financial Forecast – Long-term Investment Plan of Krakow City.
It was accepted that sections of public service and local roads will be realised first because they are necessary to implement tasks which are co-financed by the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region for 2014-2020 (RPO WM). It means that road system required to provide a communication infrastructure for recreational areas surrounding water reservoir number 1 in Przylasek Rusiecki will be reconstructed. New road system which will operate “The Błonia 2.0 Open Area for Large-scale Events” will be also build, as well as road sections which will communicate Economic Activity Zone “Nowa Huta of the Future” with Igołomska Street will be reworked.
Schedule of those investments will be agreed with timetable of projects realized by Kraków Nowa Huta of the Future S.A., which means that first of them should be finished by the year 2020. Total cost of design works and reconstruction of road system in the project “Kraków – Nowa Huta of the Future” area to be carried out by 2030 was estimated to 303 million PLN, of which 3 million PLN will be spent by 2020.
