The Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC) is a non-governmental organization that has been on a mission to improve the design and use of buildings in cities since 2008. PLGBC is part of a global community of 80 organizations gathered under the World Green Building Council. The association conducts awareness campaigns, conferences, trainings and workshops on topics including climate change, quality of life, health, biodiversity, functionality of urban spaces, conservation and saving of natural resources, and caring for the future of the planet. PLGBC also conducts certifications of residential buildings, and in competitions recognizes sustainable investments realized and functioning with a closed-loop economy.
PLGBC membership is an important step towards sustainable development efforts. All affiliated organizations share the same goals – improvement and development in sustainable construction.
