What will the future be like? This question most often appeared at Gitex Global 2022 – the world’s largest event for the new technologies industry. During the five-day event, numerous panels, presentations, premieres of breakthrough achievements in such areas as: 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud & Edge, Cybersecurity, Fintech, Blockchain, Data Analytics and Smart Cities took place.
The Metaverse offers, amazing virtual reality solutions that strengthened various industries, including the music industry (live and virtual concerts), fashion (virtual fashion shows), art and the gaming industry. These digital solutions will revolutionize industry and modern society.
In addition to advanced Metaverese products, on Gitex we found impressive presentations of the Emirati government institutions. A highly exposed topic was cybersecurity on a par with modern robots used in urban space. Drones to monitor space, autonomous cars are no longer new, but they are becoming a more and more sophisticated tool used in various areas of life. Vehicles that look like spacecraft, unmanned, used to patrol the area. It is impossible to notice that some of these solutions are already in operation, e.g. the autonomous metro in Dubai, which runs without delays, even every 1 minute during rush hours!
Representatives of Kraków Nowa Huta Przyszłości S.A. prepared a presentation at the fair under the brand Krakow Metropolitan Area for Business. It is here, at our stand, that business meetings were held, which may result in interesting cooperation in the future. In addition to visitors from the Middle East, our stand was popular among Europeans and Poles. For the first time in the history of the Gitex fair, the Polish delegation of entrepreneurs was the most numerous – over 80 exhibitors.
The offer of our project is addressed globally to investors from all over the world, in this case to business operating in the high technology industry. The project representatives introduced the visitors of the stand to the investment offer of the Krakow Metropolis.
The 42nd edition of Gitex Global 2022 brought together over 5,000 companies that presented extraordinary solutions at the Dubai World Trade Center exhibition center.
Our partners have also joined the economic presentation of Kraków and the Małopolska Region: the City of Kraków and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Kraków. The Chamber also organized a trade mission of entrepreneurs interested in establishing trade contacts with potential partners from the UAE and the Middle East.
Participation in the Gitex Global 2022 fair is related to the implementation of a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (Regional Operational Program of the Małopolska Region for 2014-2020) entitled “Krakow Metropolitan Area for Business” implemented by Kraków Nowa Huta Przyszłości S.A. in partnership with the Municipality of Krakow, the Krakow Metropolis Association and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Krakow.
